Just Nova

Not that anyone really cares as of yet, but there is potential for the first chapter to be delayed. I am currently dealing with Influenza (have been for the last week) and it seems the illness is making a bit of a comeback, so I might not be able to wrap up the first chapter as soon as I would like
          This is partially due to me procrastinating, as well, for the record...I am not blameless! But just a heads up that this is the hole I have dug for myself

          "Yes?"
          "We found him."
          "...but he was a myth."
          "Nevertheless, he exists."
          "..."
          "What do we do?"
          "Bring him over."
          "Right away. And the girl?"
          "What girl?"
          "He's connected to a girl. A psychic connection."
          "She's not important. We can't risk the exposure of our operation."
          "What if our enemy uses her against him?"
          "...fine. But be careful. And don't leave any witnesses. Do whatever's necessary."
          "Yes sir. And...one last thing? If I may?"
          "Speak freely."
          "It's Ike. I think we're losing him."
          "What do you mean?"
          "He hasn't checked in over the last couple of days. The times between his reports are getting longer and longer."
          "Monitor him, and double check all information he gives us. And send a couple extra spies to watch him. If he's compromised, we may yet have use for him."

"Hello?" The voice cut through the silence. It sheered away the darkness that surrounded me as I spoke the words. It was hard to tell if anyone was listening, but...on the off-chance that someone was...I had to try. Right?
          I hesitated. "I'm back. I've got more to say, and...well, this place is as much home as anywhere else. So I'll be here for a bit."
          Not that I would be around a lot, but, well, I'd be back when I had more to say. I could be content with that. And if anyone *was* listening, I hoped they could be content with that as well

Hello everyone! I wanted to let y'all know that I am leaving Wattpad soon, and I will be deleting my whole account. I will instead be moving over to Quotev, where I can make more than stories and poetry; over there you can also make quizzes, tests, surveys, and more. When I get my Quotev account set up I will post it here and wait a week before deleting my Wattpad account, at the least

New poem!
          I promise I'm trying. I really am

Hey hey hey, today's a pretty big day for my Wattpad, any an annoying day for y'all! I have updated "Watching Time" and "Fallen Star" with their respective prologues, and I have posted a new poem in my Mismatched Collection of Makeshift Poetry!
          
          So yeah life's been hectic, still haven't finished Watching Time Chapter 1 yet, but I decided to release the prologues earlier. (In my mind I had this idea of only releasing when the next part was done. Fail.) Maybe I can finish the chapter tonight, it ain't far from completion. We shall see

Apologies to everyone. Rather than just ping a single person (the one person who asked for future updates), I feel less awkward about just announcing to everyone, and y'all can just ignore the announcement if you wish lol
          
          Basically, I am really close to finishing Watching Time Chapter 1, but haven't quite made it. And it's a little set back by a sudden feeling of emptiness that has taken my soul the last several days, although I have had time to write a couple of story concepts, and then I wondered...what if I do that on Wattpad?
          
          I've already published the first concept, so feel free to check it out right now; these story concepts are basically just gonna be either short stories I wanted to write and share, or snippets of stories I will not be writing. There may not be context or explanations, but hey, it's a concept. (It's an excuse.) 
          
          I will try to post at least 1 concept per week of inactivity here on Wattpad. So if I can't finish Watching Time by the end of the week, instead of getting a Watching Time and Fallen Star debut, you will prob see my second concept come to publicity

I don't know when yet, but soon I will be posting the first chapter of two stories:
          The Watching Time novel (which I am reviving), and
          The as-of-yet unnamed psychological superhero story
          Whichever gets the most popularity will probably take the most of my attention in coming months (though I'll try to keep both updated). I'll probably post them sometime next week
