My name is Maia, and I question my life choices whenever possible.
I'm a sophomore in college, and I've been writing since eighth grade. I like to write about magical girls and monsters. I get a lot of inspiration from anime, which is a bit of a problem for me because I think I watch too much anime. I also draw inspiration from my personal miseries, brought on by years of bullying, so I apologize in advance if my work seems overly dark, sad, melodramatic, or otherwise negative.
Besides writing, my hobbies include reading, playing video games, singing, researching strange things, and playing card games like Yu-Gi-Oh and Vanguard.
My ultimate goal is to become a novelist and tell stories that help people feel better about themselves. As someone who was bullied, I'm very familiar with the feeling of worthlessness. I started writing to try to bring myself out of that, but if I can bring someone else out of it, that'll make it even better!
