My love of writing began when I was in high school. I had written a 75-page fanfic novella of the NBC Show Heroes, a show I was obsessed with when I was much younger. The minute I finished typing "The End," I immediately fell in love with writing. Unfortunately, I had trouble finding a story to write next.

Fast forward to 11 years later when I joined NaNoWriMo. I started writing a paranormal novel and by the end of the month, I wanted to write something different. So, I changed that initial story around (renamed characters, ADDED CREATURES, etc.) and it became an urban fantasy novel, one that I am working on today. 

During the day, I work at a marketing agency in Virginia and at night, I write (and read A LOT).
