@ChuckyIceheart Hi ChuckyIceheart, unfortunately, I am in a process of re-writing my current story and re-imagining the first world I built. I am unable to read any stories at this time until the beginning of the summer. I wish you all the best, and maybe if you tell me more about your story, I will consider adding it one of my lists.

            Thanks,

So a couple of short announcements.
          1. I deeply apologize for not updating for like 2 months, I feel horrible about it.
          2. I will have more free time starting next semester so I can get back to my duties and update more frequently.
          3. I am debating whether to go to law school right now, if I do decide to take that route, please understand that I will be studying much more often
          4. I will be updating a chapter today and a few more for the rest of the week!

Happy Thanksgiving for my fellow Americans :P

Greetings, and welcome to The Veiled Night! we are honored to welcome you into our arms as a bishop loyal to darkness. As a talent scout, your job will be to find undiscovered dark stories and promote them in our "hidden gems" book which is soon to come out. Vote, comment, and praise the author if you're so inclined to do such on your normal reading schedule, but if you wish to "scout" the book, do not tell the author your intent. Instead, send the main account a pm on which book you'll be writing a review on and we'll notify the author ourselves. This way, it's more of a surprise, but we still have permission from the author to review their book. Now, you might be asking why I keep mentioning reviews. After reading a dark book you really like (you don't have to read the whole book, but enough so that you can write an accurate review) you will share your thoughts by writing a review. Since we want this to be a kind gesture to promote undiscovered stories, we ask that you do not critique them, but only give positive feedback. What you write in your review is up to you, but something along the lines as to what the story is about and why you liked it should be included somehow! Remember, you're trying to promote their book in a non-spoiler fashion! If you have any questions or concerns, PM us and we'll get back to you shortly! Again, thank you so much for joining The Veiled Night, it means everything.

So I am completing my full on outline for ASOPB (probably going to be 6 parts, 120k words, 60ish chapters), and I'm going to pre-warn that Solaris is going to be dropping from f-bombs and very derogatory terms for women like "c**t" because it fits his character. I promise that once I have the outline, writing the rest of ASOPB will be a piece of cake because I know where the book will be going. I will tell you that there will be more action scenes, more dialogue, fights, passion, and adventure for many characters as we bring ASOPB to a conclusion into the next novel, "A War of Splintered Bone" which should be all action and adventure basically.

I'm going to be honest, I'm probably moving to once every 2 weeks for chapters unless I'm extra free. I'm sorry, but my life is really busy and hectic, and this is the most I can promise you right now :)

As for critiques and read-for-reads, I am going to be slow about it, but I will eventually get to it. Please don't think that I abandoned you, I just took a month long hiatus after school started.

Thanks again, I love and appreciate you all!
