K.C. Aegis is the son of a metal shop machinist and a church pianist. He spent his childhood getting into trouble and getting back out before anyone noticed. This includes countless run-ins with neighborhood bullies and several near death experiences while on deep sea fishing trips in Mexico.

Aegis' father was an excessive gambler and truth stretcher. Naturally, this made him an interesting story teller. Aegis first fell in love with storytelling while sitting around a fire, listening to his father's made-up yarns about bear cats, dog crabs, squnks, slasher snakes, and many others.

He began writing his first novel when he was nine years old. It was a fantastic account of one man's struggle against ferocious saber-clawed demons. Aegis had just finished writing the love scene between the hero and the well endowed warrior princess when his mother, the church pianist, found the pages and threw them away in horror. Aegis was undeterred.

Later, Aegis became an accomplished wrestler, winning first place in several tournaments. After high school, he traveled through Europe, did a stint as a firefighter, married his high school sweetheart, had three beautiful children, and became an English teacher. All the while, he felt the stories boiling within him, begging to be told.

His first novel, Omnipotence, was completed in 2013. Binding Program was completed in 2016. He is hard at work on novel number three and hopes to have it completed before the apocalypse.
