Hello, I am C. L. Haldeman.

    In early 2013 I took great interest in urban legends and started reading everything I could find on them. My research brought me here where amateur writers could publish their works. After reading several stories others wrote on these urban legends, I thought it would be fun to try my hand in it as well. That's when I wrote my first fanfiction later that year. By the end of 2014, I had written four stories. Three were chapter books and one was a one-shot(short story). I was working on my fifth fanfiction when it occurred to me that what I was writing would make an excellent book. So, I pushed my fanfiction aside and in December of 2014, I began writing my first real book, Guardians of the North Woods-Book One: Men of the Amara Clan. It took me a little over three years to complete. Of course, it ended up being nothing like my fanfiction; only the concept was the same.  

    Now, I'm in the middle of writing book two of the Guardians of the North Woods series. Going's a bit slow, so I don't know when I'll finish it. Having fun writing it, though. I also enjoy drawing as a hobby. As a result, I am also in the process of drawing a map for book two. This will be the World of Men where Kierra and the Men of the Amara Clan hail from.
