Doris Ijeoma Basil-Ibegbulam now known as Doris Basil is a wife and mother of four children. She is the CEO of a group of online retail businesses since 1999. She is also a Fashion Designer with her own line under the brand name ‘Doris Basil’. In the last few years she took some time off the retail businesses to concentrate on establishing her own fashion line. But nothing has given her much fulfillment as the spiritual growth and her relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ who inspired her to write the book titled “A Sense of Urgency” to alert her fellow Christians to get into ‘a sense of urgency’ in their readiness for the second coming of our Lord.
     Our Lord Jesus Christ inspired this book (A Sense of Urgency) to be written exclusively for Christians. We (Christians) believe our Lord Jesus Christ will come again to take us to Heaven but many of us are not really ready for Heaven yet. Our Lord told us that the last sign of His second coming is that the gospel will be preached to all nations. We Christians know that this has been accomplished and now what we are doing is to make sure it gets to every ears that are able to ascertain right and wrong. Through the satellite television ministries like the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), online and offline ministries of other Christians and the proliferation and penetration of smart phone technology and other mobile devices that have provided another means of propagating the gospel, all ears in every nation will hear about salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ very soon. Now, our Lord has inspired this book to inform all Christians to get into ‘a sense of urgency’ in our readiness for Heaven.
