James paced the room. His hands were at his sides, his nails digging into the skin of his arm. This had turned into a nervous habit of his. His hair was a mess, or more then usual anyways — which was saying something. It had turned this way after continuous times of anxiously combing his hands through his dark, tangled hair. “What if she saids no? I can’t back out… I’ve got the date on the bloody box.” He muttered underneath his breath.

“Perhaps, that would make me feel better… but be subtle, don’t ask anything too obvious, that may make her suspicious.” James said. He didn’t want this to be ruined, she need to be surprised… “But I’m excited too! Merlin, Kendra, I might cry when I do it. Is that pathetic?” He asked. James placed his face into his hands. He hadn’t cried in a long time.
