I am a writer and English teacher based in the state of SC. As a native South Carolinian, I was born in Greenwood, raised in Columbia, and have spent much of my life dreaming of other worlds entirely. After earning my degree in English at Allen University, I moved on to earn my MFA in Creative Writing at Converse University, studying the genre of Afrofuturism.
