-I'm a mother, grandmother, sister, wife, daughter, mentor and friend

-I love learning about Islam, and in recent years, I've taken up learning to understand the Qur'an, word for word.  Not the whole of it yet, not by a long shot, but many Surahs ; )

-My favorite Surah or chapter in the Qur'an is Surah Waqia!

-I'm very inspired by the number of young authors on Wattpad who are committed to writing stories centered on the Deen of Islam.  I sooo wish that Wattpad was around when I was a new Muslim revert many, many years ago!

-My most favorite quote is by Dr. Bilal Philips:

             "The Qur'an is for ourselves, not our shelves"

-I'm super thrilled that @ClassyThinking designed the new cover for my book. I think that it captures in one image what the book is about : D.
