How come both Collide and Key to the Kingdom are discontinued?

just wanna say crawford academy was a great read. It’s not up anymore, but i remember it in a vivid way. First boarding school fic i liked and what got me into original works on a03. 
           I was kinda dead for the last chapters but that’s okay. I think I became s bum

If it's discontinued fuckin delete it what's the point of keeping it up

Here's a little sneak peek of the sixth chapter of Crawford Academy. Coming to a library near you. (that was bad)
          
          Their eyes clung to her but exchanged sly looks amongst themselves as she walked past them. Iris was an estranged antelope calf wandering into the lion’s hunting ground who’s carcass would be thrown to these hyena’s after the lions had their fill.
          
          Iris kept her eyes forward, her neck and shoulders stiff from the effort to keep her head up. Her spine tingled from the stares and cracked from the effort to keep walking. She didn’t know what to do, what they wanted her to do but she was certain that she would not react the way they wanted her to. Her top arm burned a phantom sensation in the form of her mother’s palm, reminding Iris of the conversation she had with her mother last night.
          
          Happiness is fleeting, capitalism is forever.
          
          
          
          
          
          Can I just say that I'm getting a real Mean Girls vibe with all these animal references?

For those of you interested in Crawford Academy, Chapter Six will be coming over the weekend.

I'm in the middle of brainstorming for Crawford Academy when am idea for another story pops into my head and I know I won't be able to continue with Crawford if this new idea doesn't get written down.
