☄️Back eventually! Missing our reading buddies. Never fear! We'll explain the extended absence when we're back, although some pieces may stay secret-ish a little while longer until fully complete. Not sure yet.
Things keep developing. All sure is exciting to us, but... We'll see how you feel when we return!
️KOD will be skipping ReadUnion this Fall break (maybe Xmas as well) but hope you think it's worth it when you know what we did all by our own selves. We're like the big kids now. (Fun but not super-big, so you know... just personally proud and excited for the hurdles we've managed, maybe. Hehe.) Yay.❤️

To ANYONE FOLLOWING THE FIRE SITUATION at hole in the woods for Wez:
The last two updates today in @WendyyWolfe ‘S version of these updating posts “real time” will fill you in on the current hopeful, maybe 5? days, break in the action while the next heatwave sets up for more breath-holding, finger-crossing and potential to run.
Website progress has been stalled and likely Read Union for fall with it as well… BUT…
We’re surely adding this urgent experience into the Otherborn series from here!
In fact, now making a map the series Fringe Crew can follow in their own escape holes and plans in our stories based on a new “recipe” book for evacuations irl via Wez… : D

PLEASE: Magic me rain at the end of the week… Looks like the whole rest of the country will be getting it and here… Not so much!
✏️ I’ll be trying to amend the book with what I have learned irl at some point. I’ll be taking six months off now at least, to re-stage the complexity of leaving my Hole in the Woods next time with multiple future events playing out here due to fires and winter hurricanes among trees. A mile away from the alert zone… Is way too close!
Winter and summer weather will be Russian roulette from here out. And I’ve learned so much… not about the official story but about what REALLY goes on in the human component … sometimes the greatest risk!
And I want to use the memory triggers here to add to Maddie‘s coping skills in the Otherborn series (on @knightsofdystopia if you don’t know what I’m talking about).
I’ll give you my final (this event version) recipe for how I staged that repacking at the end of the book in a few months …
And sooner, the resulting observations (bullet points) report will be posted any day.

@Jonleepeto chose a random spot to message… honestly no way to know how to answer about whether they were evacuating or not… We stay in this state for the rest of the season till heavy rains I think! We’ll see. Talk to those rain gods! It’s all about quantities of water at this point… Fires keep going nuts.
