Hey guys!

After a few months worth of a writer's block, I've come up with an idea for an original story written in a third-person point of view to contradict my previous fanfiction attempts. The story is not completely developed, but I'd like to know what you think. :)
          	Would you read this?

          	...

“The moment her broken, teary gaze locked with his, he knew he’d only ever have eyes for her. He had spent so much time amidst ruins that he forgot how beautiful it was to heal, to help mend back together something, somebody so pure and fragile.”
In between periodically crashing at his friend’s place, disappointing his ever-upset mother and slowly drowning in addiction, Alexander is losing himself. His relatively aggressive and unpredictable demeanour isn’t unjustified – a deep trauma he cannot forgive himself for gnaws at his conscience perpetually.

“All her once cold and deserted heart wanted to do more than anything was to tell him to stay on the line and run to his – well, not even his own – place and be there for him. She wanted to hold him in her arms like one would a small child and wait for him to fall asleep. But her intellect won over my instincts.”
Karolina can’t recall the last time she felt alive. Her seemingly cold and inaccessible performance is only the tip of the iceberg of her deteriorating mental health and perfectionistic tendencies. She tries to mimic parental love to Ida, her younger sister, the only soul she feels bound to and responsible for.

When their worlds slowly yet surely begin to collide as an unanticipated turn of events draws them together, neither of them how to proceed their newly-bound, tender connection – all they know for certain is they don’t want it to end. But what is love built on other than luck?
