I wrote a lot of fanfiction in my teens and very early 20s, but became interested in other hobbies when my husband and I started dating. In 2012 I began writing little scraps for a story idea, which eventually evolved into a full project I'm still in the process of planning and writing, but my writing interest has expanded beyond the project since then.

I primarily write character-focused fantasy with a wide range of of mature themes, although much of the heavier content will not be posted for a variety of reasons. I also try to add small realism elements ranging from menstural periods, to lice/tick infestations, environment impact such as earthquakes, and beyond.  I also dabble in other genres, including (but not limited to) scifi, romance, and action.

I'm always open to critique (be honest; I have a thick skin and like knowing what isn't working for readers), and usually happy to return the favor. It's worth noting however that I am very critical of Teen and Young Adult literature, so please let me know ahead of time if you are not looking for advanced critique.
