          i just read that it's canon shigaraki's original quirk was supposed to make him fly and AFO did in fact take it and give him decay. LIKE WTF???? MY FUCKING SHAYLA.
          
          also, I read from the comments that it's canon in MHA, a body can reject the quirk its given when its not the quirk you're supposedly born with. shigaraki itching was both from allergy and his body rejecting the quirk AFO forced into him ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ
