* in  the  middle  of  the  pep  rally,  iris's  headache  seemed  to  get  even  worse -  poor  girl  couldn't  stand  the  bright  lights  that  her  eyes  felt  so  sensitive  too  or  all  of  the  yelling  and  cheering  that  fed  into  her  migraine.  iris  was  a  cheerleader,  she  was  supposed  to  be  able  to  tolerate  this  kind  of  stuff,  but  yet  her  migraines  only  seemed  to  get  worse  and  worse  with  no  explanation  on  why - she's  drank  enough  water,  went  to  bed  on  time,  eaten  all  three  meals,  gotten  exercise  in.  what  could  be  the  cause  of  her  bloody  noses  and  vivid  nightmares  and  migraines  from  literal  hell? it  felt  like  it  was  destroying  her.  iris  rushed  out  of  the  gym  away  from  the  pep  rally  after  they  finished  their  tricks,  maybe  to  take  some  ibuprofen  or  visit  the  nurse?  who  knew *

I  haven't  seen  him  in  years  * iris  hid  behind  the  building,  eye  on  a  man  with  buzzed  brown  hair  and  blue  eyes -  iris  had  this  man's  eyes,  and  he  didn't  seem  to  look  like  iris's  mother  ms.  lindsey  stewart.  the  man  was  taller,  with  a  muscular  build,  and  based  off  of  his  uniform  and  name tag;  he  was  general  emerson,  a  man  who  held  a  little  less  power  then  dr.  kay  on  the  hawkins  military  base * 
          
          //  right  before  a  crawl,  interference  with  iris's  absent  father  suddenly  coming  back  into  the  picture  ( she  hasn't  seen  him  since  1983 / season  one )

SPOILER  ALERT  FOR  EP7 / POSSIBLY EP8  RAHHHH
          
          * the  plan  was  supposedly  simple,  steve's  beanstalk  plan;  get  into  the  upside  down,  climb  the  radio  tower,  wait  just  enough  for  the  abyss  to  be  close  enough  and  climb  inside  so  el  could  be  close  enough  to  use  her  powers  and  kill  vecna.  simple,  right? *
          
          * but  as  dustin  and  iris  were  on  the  top  of  the  radio  tower  after  such  a  climb,  it  felt  unstable,  wobbly - and  demobats  seemed  to  take  an  interest  in  the  group  of  people  on  the  radio  tower.  one  of  the  demobats  had  hit  dustin - making  him  stumble  back  and  almost  fall  off  of  the  heightened  tower.  iris  desperately  grabbed  his  hand  before  he  could  fall  too  far  down *  " dustin!! "

it's  probably  because  this  is  like  - the  final  mission  y'know?  no  more  chances  * iris  wanted  to  help,  but  how?  in  what  way  could  she  possibly  help  when  they  were  so  far  up? *

* stupid,  stupid,  stupid.  iris  made  a  wrong  move,  she  caught  the  attention  of  a  demogorgon  during  the  plan,  she  was  supposed  to  sneak  through  the  lab  and  find  some  more  stuff  for  dustin's  ' shield  generator ',  all  she  found  was  files  more  about  the  subjects,  especially  about  001,  008,  and  el.  she  had  grabbed  the  files  too  quickly,  the  paper  cutting  her  finger,  the  metallic  scent  of  blood  filling  the  air  and  catching  the  attention  of  a  demogorgon. *  DUSTIN!  * out  of  the  whole  group,  his  name  was  the  first  one to  escape  her  throat.  she  desperately  ran  to  find  dustin,  steve,  johnathan,  nancy,  anyone  in  the  lab  that  could  be  help  her -  the  demogorgon  chasing  after  her  quite  fast *
          
          //  ok  slightly  made  up  scenario  bc  I  feel  like  there  wasn't  many  life  threatening  situations  for  steve  and  dustin  in  season  five

          * while  dustin,  steve,  nancy  and  johnathan  were  in  the  upside  down,  el  and  hopper  had  already  left  with  kali -  and  accidentally  left  a  walkie  talkie  that  was  able  to  communicate  with  the  other  group  since  they  were  in  the  upside  down *  I  don't  want  to  die,  I'm  scared  . . .  * the  younger  voice  was  obvious,  it  was  holly  wheeler  desperately  trying  to  get  anyone's  attention *
          
          / holly  escaped  but  vecna  doesn't  immediately  send  her  back / nancy  doesn't  find  her  while  she's  falling
