Hellooo. Changing a few minor (major, to be honest) details in Towards Tomorrow. 1. - Elsa's full name in the book will now officially be: Elisabeth Georgia Arendelle. ELISABETH - I've always loved the head canon that "Elsa" is just the short form of Elsa's full first name, Elisabeth. GEORGIA - The name "Georgia" sounds so confident and powerful for me, which Elsa is, am I right? ARENDELLE - You already know. Replacing 'Winters' with this because it makes much more sense. Formerly, Elisabeth Quinn Winters. 2. In correspondence, Claire's last name will also be changed to "Claire Amandine Arendelle." AMANDINE - This French name means "Worthy of love." I thought it would suit Elsa's point of view towards Claire, because she believes Claire deserves all the love in the world, and all that she can offer. 3. Aiden's also getting a big name change, can't leave my boy out. Aiden's full name in the book will be "Aiden Antoine Laurent." ANTOINE - It is of French origin, in line with Aiden's French heritage. It means "beyond praise, highly praise-worthy." A timeless, French second/first name classic. LAURANT - Okay, I know Aiden's former "Fireheart" surname is the original gangster, but Fireheart only makes sense for him if this is still the Queen and I we're talking about. ... Anyway, Laurent is a name It is a French name derived from the Latin name Laurentius, meaning "man from Laurentum," a city in ancient Italy. The name has been used as a surname for centuries and is associated with many notable individuals. Since Aiden's new surname now is officially Laurant, I can explain why this makes much more sense, hah! After Aiden's stepfather leaves Aiden and Helena when Aiden was 15 in the suburbs nearby New York, Helena began using her maiden surname again, which is "Laurant." Wanted to replace the 'e' with an 'a' for some reason. 4. As for Pierre, no name changes are to be made. Pierre Alarie Storms sounds nice enough.

ADDITIONAL INFO: South Carolina, Charleston (Helena’s hometown before she fled to New York with Aiden's stepfather)— if I did my research correctly — has been significantly influenced by French culture and history. Charleston was founded in 1670 by English colonists, but it quickly became a major trading center, with goods and people coming from all over the world. French Huguenots, who were Protestants fleeing religious persecution in France, settled in Charleston in the late 17th and early 18th centuries, bringing their language, culture, and traditions with them. And then boom, Helena’s ancestry, meaning she’s of French descent, hence providing more explanation to her maiden surname, which is “Laurant” and why she knows how to speak and understand French.
