"I'm not tricking you!  I wouldn't do that!"  his voice took on a desperate tone.  he needed kwon to believe him  —  he didn't want to lose this.  "my  —  my mom she  ..  she used her powers on me.  messed with my mind.  I didn't  ..  I didn't mean to.  I didn't know  —  she was a liar  —  she said everyone was bad!   /  I didn't know  /  !"

I already lost so many people and been tricked so many times in my life by those kinds of people , xinyi .. so sorry if im a little cautious .. or paranoid . `` he rubs at his head . `` is that why you don't like your mind being messed with ? why you were all freaked out when I messed with you that one time ? `` he asked suddenly . he didn't get that from the paper just simply inferring . 

xinyi shoved past the other so he could stuff the file pack into the drawer and slam it back closed.  it was a collection of a part of a life that would always make him hate himself.  "of course I'm not!  you think they'd let me run free if I was?"  he turned around to face kwon with a scowl.  "you think I'm like that anyways?  you  —  you really think I could be a  ..  "

"I'm not dramatic."  he mumbled into the floor.  "I'm being treated like a child  —  I'm   /  not  /   one!  I'm rightfully upset  ..  whatever though."  he sighed loudly.  "what instructions were you given?"

                kwon shook his head at the boy's behavior . ``  don't think of it like that . just think of this as another one of our hangouts . `` he slowly joins the other on the floor . `` you're so dramatic , you know ? ``

"I am   /  not  /   reckless!  I'm reasonably impulsive  ,  there's a difference!"  he groaned and tumbled ungracefully on to the floor.  "I mean  ..  yay!  more kwon time!  but like  —  I   /  don't  /   need a babysitter!!"

"you're thinking too little  ,  my friend.  think of all the   /  chaos  /   we could cause!  the world would fear us  ..  in a non  –  dangerous ways  ,  since we're like heroes and all of that!!"  he smiled wide and hoped in place a total of twice in order to expel excess energy.  xinyi wasn't a fan of mind related powers.  his mother had forever ruined such a thing for him  —  but kwon had given him a shaky safety with such a thing.  it didn't seem so bad when it was from the other.
