Leonnard Ojwang is a storyteller-cum-scientist. Or is it the other way round?

He graduated with a doctoral degree in food science from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.

A prolific writer and master storyteller, Ojwang regarded his becoming a writer as something of a miracle.

Born and raised in Kenya, Leonnard always dreamed of writing suspenseful stories challenging human emotions and instincts. During his boyhood years, he penned short stories simply to entertain fellow classmates, finding humor a dish that endeared many to him. When he joined high school, his talent was first recognized by his English literature teacher who praised his skill and wit in the use of English language.

Upon relocating to the US, he wrote short stories for two e-magazines, and for many months thereafter, Ojwang engaged readers online asking him to write novels.

Deciding he wanted to be a part-time novelist, Ojwang programmed his life around his tight work schedule and business travel, promising himself to publish at least a book each year.

Currently, his weekends are so predictable: if he is not playing soccer, then he's hard at work at his apartment facing a forest infested with all kinds of insects, most of which he believes wouldn't mind fighting him with stings!
