When I read that.. it struck really hard. Why is it that we always find ourselves stuck in the thought of being accepted by people, who can’t even accept themselves? We tend to waste our thought, energy and feelings towards temporary things and wonder why we feel miserable all the time. Self-reflection of the day.
@lethal_bullets, you're right. We tend to let what people think of us shape our reality, looking for validation with people who aren't even sure of themselves. It's kind of hard to break free of those kinds of habits, though I hope we're all able to sooner and not later
