Just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I'm alive. *crying emoji*
First of all, thank you so, so much for all the wholesome comments, kind words, and your unbelievable patience. Seriously, the amount of support you've shown me over these past weeks means more than I can put into words. And your patience... goodness graciousness... absolutely unmatched. (Though honestly, neither I nor this book are worth waiting for this long.). I also wanted to give you all a little update on the current situation. My original plan was to upload the Muharram arc chapters before the beginning of Muharram itself. These are the majlis chapters... the chapters where many things begin to change immensely in the protagonists' lives. Unfortunately, things didn't go according to plan, and I wasn't able to finish them in time.
The plan from the very beginning was to pause updates throughout Muharram and Safar (roughly 70+ days). However, since I wasn't able to post the chapters before Muharram started, the next updates will now come after Muharram. which means around 25+ days from now, InshaAllah.
The main reason for not following my original plan of waiting for Safar to finish, is that these chapters contain majalis and azadari. Had they not contained those elements, I probably wouldn't have continued posting them in safar. Another reason is that during this time I'll be learning, reflecting, and hopefully polishing my own knowledge. InshaAllah, that will help me write these chapters with greater care, accuracy, and quality. And to the person who commented that I'll eventually make a comeback... Heck yeah, I will. Alhamdulillah, things are settling down now. My personal life is improving a lot and once things are fully back on track, you can bet that writing will be one of the first things I throw myself into wholeheartedly. I'll be back... and I'll be back with plenty of surprises.
