I threw up and then my dad rushed in when he heard it, and then he was yelling at my grandad for letting me stay up so late, but my grandad was chill, he was really fun until he died, like, how dare he leave me, that big meanie (I joke to cope with sadness, so please don't take this weirdly, it's purely a coping mechanism...)

lol thought all day (a dangerous thing) and realized that 1st person is not for me unless it's one particular oneshot turned short novel (fck that particular book btw, i hate it and love it at the same time)
SO
i am unpublishing In Your Eyes to rework the chapters and make it third person so I'm happy with what I'm writing

@CheesyPizzaGirl123 I think it entirely depends on how you want to shape the narrative. Past tense and third person is more natural for me bc it's how I've been writing for the past ten years. But it could be completely different. It takes experimentation to find out your creative flow. I'd say just try both. See how it feels to you. Don't really think about it and let the words flow.
