            (Disclaimer: I don’t hate these movies or Disney I’m only saying this cuz I love Disney)
            
            - remakes recycle scripts and storyboarding without crediting the original writers and artists 
            
            - Walt hated the idea of making sequels/spinoffs and always continued to move forward. That tactic has always worked for Disney. The company used to be all about making mistakes and taking risks because they paid off in the end. Plus, making original films would result in even MORE potentially popular franchises to make even more money than these reboots are. But reboots are just easier to make. 
            
            - Disney is capable of so much and what they’re doing is just straight up lazy. They could earn just as much money, if not more, by having anniversary screenings of their movies.
            
            - The remakes are easily forgotten. A few weeks ago, I saw a DVD of the Beauty and the Beast remake in the dollar bin. The DOLLAR bin. Normally you’d have to wait for a classic like Beauty and the Beast to “come out of the vault” until you could buy it. 
            
            If that doesn’t show how even Disney thinks of their own remakes, idk what does
