When I was very little (I believe this was fourth grade) I went to a school fundraiser. Apparently people had donated books and posters and other things we all horde and never use. At the time I had only read maybe 3 books because my mother made me and reading Percy Jackson was an assignment in class. So little curly headed me waltzed in without having a clue why I was actually there and after about two minutes of searching I found a book with a cute dog on it called Shiloh by Phyllis Reynolds. Long story short, that was when I realized I wanted to read. It was also when I realized that I wanted to write.
