It's a story based around Swedish Midsummer, with some elements of magical realism, written in a bit of an experimental format (very short chapters that each represent a different flower). In a way, it's a companion story to First Frost, which represented Swedish winter (there is no character or lore overlap though, just the same vibes).

Note that I don't have any control over which stories of mine this feature is added or when, nor do I know why this specific story got the feature at this point. But I'm happy it happened as it makes it possible for readers of different abilities and in different situations to partake in the story.
@DomiSotto I’m still around! I just haven’t published anything new lately as I edited Araminta over the summer and I’m currently working on a pitch (I don’t think it’s vertical enough though)

OMG! "Sweet Little Birds" hit 100k reads today! I'm not one to celebrate often (as my anxiousness about seeming braggy or delusional gets in the way) but I'm going to allow myself to rejoice about this one because I truly never thought a story of mine would hit this milestone. Thank you to everyone who has checked out this story and contributed to making this happen! I appreciate every read, vote, and comment <3
And I am still planning to write that sequel eventually... I just have too many projects ongoing or planned. First on my agenda is finishing Bitter Treats though!
I apologize if anyone has been spammed with updates for "Where is Araminta Green?" tonight. I just finished a revision of the whole story for the Wattys which is the cause for this sudden influx of chapters! (I had to unpublish the old chapters to replace with revised versions + add two new chapters)
The story is mainly the same, so if anyone was mid-reading I think you're safe to continue, but there are two additional chapters added (chapter 6, which is a previous chapter that I split in two after adding a new scene to the sequence, and chapter 13, which is a reframed version of a pivotal scene). Some chapters have also changed names since the previous names in many cases felt hurried and uninspired.

I'm seeing many new users follow me and/or add Sweet Little Birds to their reading lists, which is of course awesome and I welcome you all! I can't help but wonder though how readers are finding my story (especially since it's not ranking well and is not featured) so if you're someone who recently started to follow me (and doesn't know me from a book club or other author community), how did you find your way here? It would be great to have that insight because, without it, any influx of readers is just a storm in a water glass that can't be replicated.
@lisa_london_ The book club, but I am not sure. I have Sweet Little Birds and Where is Araminta Green? on my to-be-read list. I saw the book Where Aramintha Green was promoted somewhere. I might recall seeing it posted before during the ONC's early days. Someone I follow commented about it, or maybe it was in the Pride booklist. I have no idea. The book is excellent. I will continue more later.
@lisa_london_ I found you a few months ago after you commented on another author's story that I was reading! I thought that your comments were well thought out and amusing so I clicked on your profile and started following you and reading your stories.
Hey i saw you were judging somewhere and you write too, may i ask you if you'd be glad to join a community where there are awards for stories, graphics, bios, etc, shops for them and all where writers, reviewers, judges, etc, all work together?

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to start it yet as i I’ve been busy with other projects. But I hope to get to it soon! In the meantime, you can check out Bitter Treats and Sweet Christmas if you want more of Robby and Ty :)
