Hello everyone, and happy Pride Month everyone!
          
          I just published a new story that is meant to be my Pride Month project. It's a cute, weird little story that combines my three favorite things to write: queer romance, Wednesday fanfic, and fluffy animals. Don't turn away if you haven't watched Wednesday, though, as this is a very loosely connected story (it's AU with an OC main character, which isn't something I usually write, but I challenged myself to see if I could come up with an interesting angle with that combination as a reaction to a contest on here).

          Speaking of Pride Month, I also wanted to mention that my story Sweet Little Birds is currently featured on the BxB list that is part of the Pride event on the front page. This is the first time ever that a story of mine has been noticed in any way by HQ, so I'm thrilled about this.

For anyone who has read Heart of a Hyde, there is now a sequel novella called Bride of a Hyde! There may still be a full sequel eventually, but for now, this is a fun (and perhaps a bit steamy) interlude.
          
          In this story, Tyler is under threat of being incarcerated again, which Wednesday of course can't allow! He needs a family member to be his guardian to be able to keep his freedom, and well... there is really only one way for her to become his family member.

Forgot to announce this yesterday when I published the final chapter, but... it's finished! 85k words and 60 chapters later, Heart of a Hyde, the story that has been my hyperfixation for the last few months, has come to an end. It's a bit bittersweet as I've been so focused on this world for so long, but also a relief to finally get to the end and feel like I accomplished what I set out to do. It may be the best thing I've ever written. Just too bad it's fanfic.

          I’m almost at the end of Sweet Little Birds and I absolutely loved it. The story is so soft and touching. Robby and Ty are really interesting characters, and I especially loved how honest they are about their feelings from the very beginning it makes their relationship feel genuine and refreshing.
          
          I wanted to ask if you would allow me to translate your story into French. Of course, you would be fully credited for your work.

I admit it. I folded. I put Hunter Doohan's pretty mug (and abs) on the cover of my Wednesday fanfiction, hoping to appeal to the fanbase of the show. The cover change also comes along with a title change, as I had a vision of a new title that also ties into some lore later in the story. I hope this change hasn't confused any readers.
          
          It's still the same story, despite the ridiculously over-the-top cover. It's still the redemption of kicked puppy dog Tyler Galpin. He's been given a chance, but can he take it? Can the blackened heart of this Hyde once again flicker with emotion?
          
          Yes, this is shipper fanfiction. Yes, it's an exaggerated Monster High drama. But I love writing this story so much. It has healed my drained writer brain.

So... I wrote a thing. It's not what I was supposed to write, and it's not what feels most useful to write, but it's the story that made my brain most happy to write at the moment. It's fanfiction. It's overdramatic. It has a ridiculously long title. It's so damn fun to write.
          
          I apologize to any readers of my original stories. I promise I will get back to those once I get inspiration flowing again (which writing this story is helping me with).

I'm suffering a bit of writer's block lately, as I have too many projects I should write, but none of them stand out as The One at the moment. So I waffle between them without being able to focus on a single one. Hopefully, I can break out of this soon, though, and get working on something. (and if there is a particular story of mine you would like to read, please tell me and maybe that will spark some inspiration for me!)
          
          I did manage to write an entry for the Shortys, though, and I would be delighted if anyone checks it out! It's a bit different from my other stories (I may have binged too much Wednesday this weekend, and the dark tone of that seeped into the story), but I hope it still works!
