Hi! Would it be possible for me to translate your story (Paper Ring) into Spanish? I'll obviously give you credit, but if you don't want me to, just say no and I'll understand. Thanks for reading.

@ littleredbird- Okay, I understand. Thank you very much for taking the time to read and reply ❤️

300k reads on my beloved Paper Rings <3

I cannot thank you all enough for your endless love and support over the years, witnesses to my writing journey. This app has allowed me to experiment, work my brain, create characters who I adore, and read other people's beautiful fan fictions, original works, and poetry.

Paper Rings is my baby(!!) and to be able to go back and rewrite it, bring more depth to characters and the wolfblood universe, is something I'm so content and passionate about, and I am SO looking forward to sharing the new and improved edition of this book when it's finished!!

Everyone I've encountered on this app over the years has been so lovely, and given me so much love and support—I can't express my appreciation enough. If there's any pieces of work you'd like to share below for me and others who happen to stumble across this post to read, feel free to do so!!

Looking forward to sharing more writing with you soon!

@LunarEclipse726 @Unicorn25352 Thank you both so much!! To answer your question, I will begin publishing chapters for the rewritten Paper Rings when the entire book is finished, and this will take a few months. The writing process is long, and I'm editing chapters as I go, so it will take a while. I'm a little uneasy about releasing chapters as soon as I finish them. Once the entire book is drafted and I can do final read through's and edits, I can smooth out any plot holes I might've missed and things like that. Essentially, I want to make sure that the entire book is at its finest before I share it with you all xx

so, I just realised that I had an ENTIRE episode written for Midnight Rain that I hadn't published?? so... surprise!!! (lol)

          I can't believe it's been 3 years—crazy.

also, just to let you all know that the new edition of Paper Rings is coming along SO well. it's slow progress, but I'm writing often, and I'm finding that I'm really enjoying the writing process, which I hope will be reflected in the writing!! I can't wait to share it with you in a few months when Book One is completed :)

hope you've had an amazing day!!

Hey, i wanted to ask for some advice. When writing the whole wolfblood thing, do u view it as like writing a tamer version of what a werewolf story would be like?

Also, do u have any tips or ways to go about writing the scenes with rhydian and your oc?

Maybe she calms him down when he's angry, or he pushes her to act when she's too cautious. Their differences can show how they grow, both individually as characters within their own right, and together.

Ask yourself questions. Work on their dynamic as the episodes go by. How does it change from the first episode compared to the last, and why? Do they challenge each other? Make each other laugh? Open up in ways they don't with anyone else? Based off of the show, Rhydian's never stayed in one place for long - maybe your OC is the first person he feels comfortable and willing to open up to. Maybe he wants to open up to your OC. That's where the real connection is - not in how similar they are, but in how they make each other better simply by just being around.

Hope this answers your questions!! <3

( @LunarEclipse726 ) awh you're so welcome! I'm really glad it helped <3

and no, I don't think your OC being half witch would hinder her connection with Rhydian at all. In fact, I think that could actually make things more interesting, especially if you let it affect how she sees herself. Like, if she's constantly torn between three sides of who she is (wolfblood vs human vs witch), that's something Rhydian would definitely relate to. He already feels caught between the wolfblood world and the human world (especially at the beginning of the series, which is where he's coming to term with what wolfbloods are and how to control his instincts, etc), so if your OC's also struggling with identity or control, that's a huge shared experience they could bond over. I don't think being "fully" wolfblood makes Maddy a better match - what matters more is how your OC and Rhydian connect emotionally, not how their abilities line up. It could even be something that brings them closer, and gets the ball rolling for their romantic development later on in the book. They're young teenagers struggling in a world where they can't fully express who they are - lean into that. And yes, Maddy also goes through this, but that brings the three of them closer as friends. If you're careful, you can explore the whole 'being torn between two worlds' concept differently for both of them.

And as for them being really different on paper - that's not a bad thing at all! Some of the best relationships in stories come from contrast. If your OC is more reserved and Rhydian's more impulsive (as we see several times throughout the series - kid literally stole t-shirts and then sold them at school. our feral law-breaking king!! lol), play into that. You can build connection through how they react to each other. Maybe they clash at first (like when Rhydian firsts arrives in Stoneybridge and she's cautious of him), but eventually come to understand each other.

@littleredbird- wow, thank you for replying! Yeah, my oc is a wolfblood but she's half witch too and I wasn't sure if that'd be something that'd hinder their connection with each other and like make it seem like maddie would be the better choice since shes full wolfblood, but could that be a detail that impacts my oc more?

Also if on paper my oc and rhydian seem different, how could I build their connection stemming from those differences?
