Goal: I want to tell a story.

The Sun Is Also A Star (the book). The Spectacular Now (the movie). I want to tell a story that changes lives. I want to make people think and rethink things-the important things. The things that make life truly matter.

I turned fifteen this year. Exactly nine days ago from the time I'm writing this (June 6th, 2019).

Goal: I want to be happy.

I don't care what other people think. I don't give a sodding (yes, sodding) crap (I promised my sister I wouldn't swear). I want to do what I love, when I love to do it. I want to do it with the people I love.

I want to make the most of this life, exactly the way it is. I can't make it what it's not. I don't want to overthink it to the point that's something entirely different, and ugly. I want to see things clearly, through a glass half-full. 

Goal: I want to be the best version of myself.

Divergent. 

I want to be Amity (kind, to everybody. Kindness isn't something you trade for allegiance. I want to be kind to even those who hate me).

I want to be Erudite (wise about every decision I make. Observant and aware. Logical).

I want to be Dauntless (brave, confident in who I am and everything I have to offer.)

I want to be Candor (honest, always. Communication is key, always key. There are two sides to every story, and everybody seems to forget that - but the truth is, every single story matters).

I want to be Abnegation (empathetic and understanding. I want to step into other people's shoes, to see the good and bad side of everybody).

These aren't all my goals; only the ones I can put into words. Maybe a year from now I'll check in and change something. Or maybe I'll change nothing.

Maybe I'll change everything.
