Don't be afraid to write your own story....the great thing about writing is it is all a matter of perspective. There will always be people who do not like what you write but there will also always be people who love it. Just go for it...I'm not the best writer around but I don't let it stop me. The most important thing is not that you wow people but that you enjoy it!
