Thomas: I grew up surrounding myself with books.  When I was 10 years old, I discovered the Hardy Boy series.  My parents didn't have a lot of money, so it was a very rare occasion that I would get a new book.  I couldn't stand it; there were 70 Hardy Boy books to be read and I was only able to get at most, 2 books a year!  I was horrified at the thought that it would take me 35 years to read all of the books!  I spent my days cutting my neighbor's yards for $4.00 and collecting newspapers and taking them to the paper-mill just so I would have money to buy another Hardy Boy book.  I know how exciting it can be to lose yourself in a wonderfully written book.  I wrote the Quest Chasers series with Grace to recapture and share some of that amazing magic.

Grace: I grew up dabbling with numerous genres, I read mostly, whatever my friends were reading. It wasn't until I read Harry Potter that I truly appreciated the complex artistry of writing.  I was awestruck by the numerous story lines that J K Rowling easily blended, mixing fantasy, magic and reality into a beautiful architectural landscape.  I realized books were much better than movies, and I found myself spending hours hiding in my bedroom surrounded by towers of books. Now, the majority of the books I read are from the fantasy genre. I love to be taken into a world different from ours and escape reality. Quest Chasers is just the kind of book that I think any boy or girl will enjoy, filled with adventure, puzzles and riddles to be solved and just the right mix of danger.
