"Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comforted." I'm one of the "disturbed," and I find comfort in my poetry. I like to write about those things everyone is afraid to feel, to think, to say out loud. I don't see myself as an all-knowing being or something, but I know what it feels like to be ashamed of your own thoughts. I know what it's like having a major sense of guilt, eating you from the insides. Just so you know, I'd really like for you to find comfort in my words. But I'd honestly feel better if you'll be disturbed by them in some way.
