Guys, Reborn to Rewrite the Beastworld was a story. A chaotic, dramatic, completely unplanned trial run. And somehow… it blew up. When I discontinued it, I know a lot of you were heartbroken. I saw the comments. (A/N: Yes, I checked my DMs. Of course I did. Some of you really be fucking sending guilt-tripping essays at 3 a.m. like I’m your emotionally unavailable ex. I love you, but please .)
I felt guilty. I’m not mad—maybe a tiny bit pissed—but I still love you.
And I didn’t disappear. Unlike my other series Sin: Vanish (which you should totally check out because I am the promo queen and I will not miss an opportunity ).
I promised a new book. And I delivered.
I spent my entire hiatus planning it. Actually outlining. Being responsible for once. Yes, I reused the intro from Reborn because it was iconic—but I changed it. The stories are NOT the same. The intros are cousins, not twins.
I published the first part. I was genuinely excited.
Then I checked the reads.
It was… quiet.
I’m not going to lie—I stared at my screen for an hour after promoting like crazy and personally messaging people, thinking, “Oh. So we ghosting now?”
I’m not angry. I’m human. When you spend five months planning, writing, rewriting, doubting yourself, and coming back stronger, you kind of hope your people show up.
I kept my promise. Now I need you to keep yours.
If you loved Kim Serin, come meet Seo Ra-hee. If you cried over that story, come cheer for this one. If you swore you’d follow me anywhere (and some of you DID), consider this me gently dragging you to the new book.
Come read it.
Let’s make noise again.
Because I did not spend five months obsessing over every detail just to sit in silence.
