I'm from New Zealand... have also lived in the UK (Liverpool to be exact) which I loved very much and miss all the completely materialistic things such as Tunnocks Tea Cakes and Primark (sad but true)... 

I love writing and always have, since I was at primary school writing stories about monkeys and getting super frustrated because I wasn't able to draw a monkey that actually looked like a monkey to illustrate my own work. Thankfully, these days I like writing YA which generally speaking isn't illustrated... so I no longer have to worry about trying to draw a half-decent monkey...
