"Chapter Seven:
Jay's POV
"Hello Jamie," my dad Erick greeted. He sounded nervous. He should be.
When my parents found out about my mom being pregnant with Mitchel my dad left. He didn't want another kid. He tryed to get my mom to 'get rid of it' before he was born. My mom refused. My dad packed his bags and walked out. They divorced and he gave up all custody. That was the fifth reason Mitch annoyed me. I know it wasn't his fault but I can't help it.
"Dad?" I questioned still shocked..How did he get my number?
"Yes Jamie. How have you been?" he asked.
"Er I'm fine I guess. Why did you call me?" I asked.
"Listen Jay. I saw you were living with your uncle. I want you to come live with me instead," he answered.
"No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I will not! You left me eight years ago! I haven't seen you in eight years! I haven't even heard from you in eight years. It was like you forgot I existed. You didn't even care about me! Mitch never even got to see his father. We had to make something up so he wouldn't know how much of a jerk his father is. He's good too but it's not like you care about him. After all you left us. Now you want me back but you can't have me. You gave up all custody so you won't be able to get me back or see me. By the time the papers are filed my birthday would have passed. I'll be eighteen by then so then you'll have no right to see me. I'll be an official adult and you don't get to see me. Please just forget about me and leave me alone. I never want to see you again. Just stay in Ireland while I'm thousands of miles away," I said. Tears were threatening to spill out of my eyes but they weren't gonna fall.
"I'm sorry Jay," he whispered. "I was stupid. I love you. Please atleast think about visiting. I miss you."
"Listen dad, I've gotta go. Bye," I said before hanging up.
