@TheFairiePrincess Well I'm not really big, compared to other great authors per se, but let me tell you, everything starts out that way in Wattpad. Everything from scratch, you have to earn the followers you have. It seems difficult but it's true. But if you do really want some reads, what I recommend is that you start advertising in a community group in Wattpad that is within your book's genres and post it under the advertisement topics (that way you won't have your post be deleted.) My next piece of advice is that if you really want more reads and such, you can also do promotion on massive social medias such as Twitter, Tumblr, maybe Facebook. Now I'm not saying to spam them, but post at a moderate pace, wouldn't want to get reported, right? And lastly, you do not look for the fans, they look for you. You don't need to be a crowd pleaser, just be the author that you want to be, keep on writing, keep improving, keep reading more works from your fellow authors, construct more and more ideas that you think can capture the attention of many. Start out by having an annual goal in your writing, not the fans, cause they'll come later. Try to achieve your goal to the best of your ability and I'm sure you're already halfway there. Hope this helps x
