i’m rereading rainbow rowell’s books.
and honestly i’m not that big of a fan of third person and switching povs because a lot of the time it feels forced, but the way she does it makes it seem seamless and effortless,,, it’s just great.
also i just read her book “pumpkin heads” for the first time and it was so cute. it gave off such autumn aesthetic festival vibes,,, and then i reread it again. like immediately after.
and the fact that she normally write ya (normal world) fiction and then can write three books that are technically fanfiction about a world she essentially made up where she switches the pov AND it’s in first person, and a couple of short stories, some books where she switches the pov, and some books where she doesn’t and it all feels the same is amazing.
that is all.
