Growing up I always loved to read. Back then reading was in these nifty things called books, and one of my favorite things to do as a kid was to visit the used book store at the top of the scary hill in my home town.

There was just something about that place - the smell of all the paper and the way the old books felt in my hands when i looked through them - i just felt good when i visited - i'd stay in that 1200sq ft store for hours at a time.

As i grew up and got more and more busy, I lost connection with stories for the longest time - but in the last 7 years i have really gotten back to my reading - and have been inspired by the characters in some of the stories i have read and decided to start writing down some of my own stories.

The thing is, i dont know if i am any good at writing - but my 13 year old convinced me to throw some of my stories at this site and see what happens. You should check her stuff out - @AveryRenee05 she's awesome.
