Has anyone read any of these books / series? 
          · The Bromance Book Club series by Lyssa Kay Adams 
          · Icebreaker and the rest of Hannah Grace's UCMH series 
          
          Curious to know whether they are books which fit nicely into the category "characters with emotional intelligence"? Anyone?

I suck so much ass when editing... LOL Because I feel so SLOW. 
          Like every change I am trying to make isn't good enough for a gazillion reasons. So, it takes an eternity to finish. *sigh* 
          Like editing "Browser City", which is like 80K long, but it's taken me more than a year in terms of editing--and I still haven't finished! XD 
          Does anybody share this feeling?

          Worried about people stealing your stories? 
          I accidentally found out a way for people to copy them. 
          I wanted to try out a reading-aloud software tool to help me with editing. I was recommended this tip to help with the fluency and readability of my stories. So, here I am, testing one of my texts on a free reading-aloud app... They ensure the privacy of my uploaded texts, sure, but here's the problem: they also allow you to copy-paste a web URL to read its text aloud. 
          So, I tried a random URL from a Wattpad story that's NOT mine. And it worked. The text of this story's chapter pops up on my screen, ready to read... but it also allows me to copy it, edit it, and paste it or download it as a local file. OMG! :S 
          How do you feel about it? 
          I'm... not thrilled about it. 
          (The tool I've been using is called Naturalreader)

Been reading the 1st chapters of different novels in the College Sports Romance genre & subgenre... only to find out that most of the time these 1st chapters are LONGER than 3K. 
          Huh. I find that weird. Usually, many readers prefer SHORTER stuff, like 1.5K-2K. But that's usually been in other genres, tbh.
          
          What do you think about it? 
          Does this difference make sense to you?

          In my case... I followed the advice of two people who are very close and dear to me to try a NEW GENRE. 
          More on that when I publish the first chapters... ;)
