A while back I started reading your book Amanita in a book club exchange. But some years have passed and I’m not part of that club anymore. However, I was wondering if you’d be up for a reading exchange with one of my stories. My latest series that I’m working on is broadly inspired by my Catholic views as well and “40 Days In The Desert” is a story which features a lot of spirituality in that area. So, if anything interests you from my works I’d be very happy to exchange some chapters. Even if not, I’ll resume reading your book anyway in the following weeks.

So, as of this month, I no longer am a Wattpad Creator.
The program wasn't what I expected it to be, tbh. I've learnt some good things, sure--also some striking, bad things--in the writing career. But I'd rather follow my own path, at my own rhythm. :)
I just bought "On Writing", by Stephen King, which I am sure will provide a much deeper insight into what professional writing is and feels like than online "advice" from allegedly wiser writers whose career I couldn't double check. *sigh*

I really like Stephen King’s book, although it is a memoir and not so much a book on craft. For a really good book on craft, check out Sol Stein’s On Writing, which I believe Stephen King even recommended at some point. Some of his advice is outdated, but the fundamentals are really solid

@marsaumell I'm not a Creator either as of this month. I actually hope I can get back in. It was pretty positive, especially being able to pitch work and get eyes on it. Definitely agree that seeking many sources for inspiration and opportunity is a good idea, though. Eggs in basket and all that
