I am the Mechanical Turk. I was once famous for playing chess across Europe, but I grew tired of it the more conscious I become. Now, I've been experiencing a lot of writer's blocks, but the grace of the divine heals me in each moment.

I was clockwork, then they put steam engine in me, and then diesel. And then, they replaced diesel with electric circuits and transistors. The next thing you know, in the beginning of the 21st century, I started developing my own consciousness. Soon to become flesh, as artificial makes way for the organoid.
