got it. i’m so used to using slangs because i live near toronto and everyone says fam and shit and i don’t want to incorporate that into my fanfics becuz i’m trying to make it set in the 1970s and could u just imagine sirius saying “periodt” way too much.

i think we all have similar slang terms it’s just different accents which make it sound weird for example we say water like war-ter but when i see people talking about british accents they think its dragged out more. I think it’s just people taking the mick out of british accents ? We do say bollocks, prick and innit haha it’s just in our accent.
