I love reading and writing. Although I never really have any of my story's posted up here, I write many of them. My current WIP (work in progress) is my 'An Item For Greed' series. I'm working on writing the first novel, 'Past the Edge' right now, but I have two others novels, and a novella planned.

I have loved to write since an early age, and that joy has persisted throughout my life. Looking back at my first stories, and seeing how much my writing has changed makes reading them again hard not to cringe. As we grow older so do our voices as writers. They get more complex, and timeless, but never how we want them to eventually end up as. While wring anything, your voice, grammar, and tone seem flawless- but looking back makes you want to turn your nose up. Looking back, I agree that my writing has grown, but I also see that I still have a lot of maturing as a writer to do. This is one of the things that I value most in a writer. Noticing the chance to grow, and taking it.

Recently I read the quote: “Everything begins with a story.” by Joseph Campbell- and I must say that I can't agree more. Whether it be an epic fantasy, or something that you tell at get togethers, it is a story none the less. Great novels and plotlines often evolve from a simple story idea. Since reading this quote, I feel more inclined to writing by giving every thought a story to tell. Having done this for a few weeks now, I feel confident in saying that if this is the case, then everything must end with a story aswell.

I've changed both the cover, and name of An Item For Greed, what do you think?
