Kehn and Rayn's moments (chapters 1 to 5)
          	
          	He studied my expression. “You saw how Mya was looking at you, huh?” So he knew what my concern was. “I did.” He chuckled. “Do I look at you the same way?”, he wanted to know. “No, you don’t look at me like if I was an unlimited free buffet.” He laughed some more. “Good, I wouldn’t want to scare you off.”  
          	
          	  “What had been keeping you from rescuing me sooner?” He grimaced. “After feeding to satiety, we sometimes feel in a haze. Like if we were on some really efficient drug.” I made a face. “Next time you’re too busy getting high, warn me before so I arrange myself to not get killed.” He grinned. “I will.”
          	
          	“This is becoming a habit”, a male voice pointed out from close to me. Too close to me. It made me jump and I heard Kehn chuckle lightly. What a sound to wake up to… I was pretty shocked too when I observed he was in bed with me. What is a dream or something? He was laying on the right side and I, on the left with my back to him. Since it couldn’t be all there was to the situation – because there was always something more when it came to him - he was also naked. My first impulse was to check if I was too. I was still pretty much clothed, thank you. Kehn was having fun again.  
          	
          	I lifted my body from the ground and started pummelling Kehn’s chest with my fists. “I hate you”, I cried uncontrollably. “I fucking hate you.” Then, he made a pretty stupid move, even for himself. He bent down to be at my height and kissed me.
          	
          	He hesitated, biting his lower lip hard, but not hard enough to withdraw blood. “I trust you, Rayn”, he whispered grudgingly, “more than I should.” That simple sentence sent shivers running down my whole body. “More than I want to. And I wished you would trust me too.” I deliberately ignored the last part, not without a bit of shame. “Then from now on, you act like it. Okay?” He nodded solemnly.
