Hey everyone! I know I said I’d be back in June with the second part of Frostbite, and technically, it is June already, but the truth is, I’m still running on empty.
          
          After wrapping up uni (slaying with all highest marks might I add!), and work (your girl got promoted = I need to learn a new role), I expected to bounce back quicker, but I pushed myself beyond my limits. I’m genuinely honored (and a bit (A LOT) overwhelmed) by how many of you are eager for Dawnrise, and it means the world that you’re waiting, but I need to be really honest with you:
          
          If you want Dawnrise to hit just as hard as Frostbite, I need time to rest, breathe, and refill the creative tank. I won’t rush it just to meet expectations. I’d rather give you something powerful and real than something half-hearted just to be “on time.”
          
          So please please please, be patient. I am coming back, I promise. But I want to come back with fire in my chest, not ashes in my hands.
          
          Thank you for understanding, and if you don’t, well… maybe reread Frostbite and remember what Elena would do to someone who pushed her while she was bleeding out. ✨

The way you write makes me emotional and make me see our Bucky from a different and more realistic perspective. The way that he is hurt in more ways than physical and how he deals with it is understandable and just makes complete sense. Please dear writer make a movie with this book as inspiration. I will personally hug you and thank you dearly.  You are amazing and I hope you have a great day.

Girl. I don't know how you did it but you may or may not (probably yes, who am I kidding) have written the most gut retching, soul crushing piece of fiction I've ever read. And that's saying something because I've read a lot of those. So, in other words, I love your book, I'm trying to patiently wait for the next one and I'm wishing you luck for uni because we're all struggling right now with exams
