Hey, I'm midnight_takari!

Before I knew what fanfiction was, I was already writing drabbles in my black notebook starring my favorite actors and anime characters. My very first ship? Takeru x Hikari from Digimon. Yep! I'm a proud '90s kid, and yes, takari came from that. Midnight? That's from a brief obsession with the occult... which I left behind quietly. Moving on.

I owe everything to the original Digimon 01 and 02 kids-they were my gateway to character arcs, chosen family tropes, and emotional damage I didn't have the vocabulary for at the time.

I read just about anything: romance, sci-fi, supernatural, dystopian, historical, action, drama, you name it. If it has a twisty plot and makes me second-guess everything (even my sense of justice-Malice by Higashino? Ruined me. 10/10), I'm in.

I love manga/manhwa: slice-of-life, fluff, action. I've lost count of how many anime I've watched, but Naruto (and Shippuden) still lives rent-free in my heart. True Beauty too. Everything else? Casual flings.

Lately, I've been into Chinese short dramas, because who has time for 16 episodes when you can get closure in 2 hours?

Movies? Just the classics: Inception, Shawshank Redemption, Empire of the Sun, The Dark Knight. A little brain damage, a lot of feels.YES!!!

When I'm not zoning out mid-task because characters are arguing in my head, I'm reading up on breaches and irregularities for work, not fiction (though sometimes the overlap is suspiciously dramatic).
