Cuba has done NOTHING but provide support to other anti-Imperialist countries and medical aid to EVERYONE, even trying to help America during the covid pandemic. And in exchange they get embargoed and starved. THIRTY-THREE times the world has overwhelmingly voted to end the embargo, yet because ONE country doesn't want to, the Cuban people continue to be deprived of the resources they need. They aren't poor because of Communism or mismanagement, they are poor because they are a small island that isn't allowed to import the fuel or technology they need to grow enough food while food aid is tied up in bureaucracy and nations hesitate to give it when America has the authority to make them pay for it. They're running out of jet fuel, which means their airlines can't fly people in, and countries like Canada, whose rich people have had no problem using Cuba as a vacation spot, are now stopping flights there, destroying the tourism industry which is a huge source of income when they aren't allowed to trade normally. They have to cut electricity and services because Venezuela was their biggest oil supplier, and every single oil tanker out of Venezuela is being stolen by America while their own president is STILL being held hostage. And now Trump is promising more tariffs for any country that tries to sell them oil. People are going to DIE in one of the most progressive countries in Latin America with a higher life expectancy than the US and healthcare renowned over the world simply because they aren't allowed to normally trade. They have done NOTHING to deserve this, not the country, not the government, and certainly not the people. Yet they all have to suffer just because America considers them a 'threat' simply because they won't bow down and whore their nation out as a sugar plantation again.

my favorite game has fired 60% of its artists to start using ai and i am so fucking distraught because idv was ALWAYS popular over its gothic artstyle n its creativity in high profile crossovers (danganronpa, persona 5, even fucking bungou stray dogs) and all of that is js being swept away for some ai to cut some corners because this multi billion dollar company doesnt wanna fucking pay its artists anymore and is using generative ai. thankfully playing it doesnt disrupt the boycott the thing is more abt not spending a single dime on it until they fix it but im still so upset that im seeing the downfall of identity v it was such a creative n fun competitive game with so much to look for i mean i was SOOOO FUCKING EXCITED WHEN I GOT THE PERSONA 5 SKINS N MY FRIEND ALWAYS LETS ME WEAR THE KOKICHI OUMA SKIN SO ME N HIM CAN MATCH CUZ HE ALWAYS WEARS THE SHUICHI ONE WHENEVER WE PLAY TOGETHER!! now its just what the fuck ill still play it but ill be f2p from now on until they genuinely stop bullshitting
