@diana_wolfatrix Ministry of State Security can have dealings with the courts, but Chagang is never involved in them.

@diana_wolfatrix They don't have a specific Ministry of Law, they have the Central Court, Provincial Courts, People's Courts and such. Their judges are appointed, and they have a Chief Judge. And while some of the provinces do have other titles, like Hwang in the Department of Information and Publicity, I think North keeps them away from judgements as much as possible. Even a fair judgement can make people angry, and since they're public figures they can't afford that. North tries to keep their reputations clean of anything that could breed resentment. He does stuff in law, but it's behind the scenes. They all know the criminal code, though. And in the future I think he would let South Chungcheong get involved with law matters since she's a lawyer, and PR can't really save her anyways.
