The Girl the Faeries Remember
          
          This chapter gave me the idea of an OC deeply connected to the strange fae magic surrounding Sori’s village and the shadowy figure from her dreams.
          
          I imagine her as a young woman from a nearby village who has always been considered strange because she can sense fae magic before anyone else. She has long, messy dark brown hair, pale green-gray eyes, and a quiet, observant personality. Her outfit would fit the rural fantasy world: a worn dress, knitted shawl, leather boots, and handmade charms around her wrists to protect herself from the faeries.
          
          Unlike Sori, she remembers seeing the shadow figure not only in dreams but also from childhood, standing at the edge of the forest and watching her through the trees.
          
          For the artwork, I would love to see her standing in a misty forest at twilight, holding a lantern while strange fae lights surround her. Instead of feeling magical and beautiful, the lights would feel mysterious and unsettling, as if they are watching her. In the distance, the antlered shadow figure could appear between the trees.
          
          A small detail could be one of the handmade antler carvings from Sori’s home lying nearby, hinting that the dreams, Benjamin’s disappearance, the carvings, and the faeries are all connected to something much older and darker.
          
          The overall visual would have a dark fairytale feeling: a beautiful countryside hiding an ancient mystery beneath it.

Have you thought about doing a follow-up to Out for Blood, but apart from its sequel, one where it's set in the Knights of the Apocalypse universe?
