@misticheskiy28 By the way, you're right, most fanfics that focus solely on One Punch Man aren't very popular, and I think that's generally due to how little we know about the One Punch Man universe. You can only stick to the original story, and that creates two major problems: 1) Aside from Saitama's training, the story takes place over a year or less, meaning any changes would have to happen very quickly; 2) The backstories of many characters are empty and leave a lot open to interpretation, which may or may not contradict the writing of many authors, such as the names of some characters (like King) or what their lives were like before (like Saitama, we don't know if he had or has a family, or if he was simply an orphan; the same goes for almost the entire cast, except for Genos, whom we know is dead). I mentioned crossovers because, given the character's nature, if they're granted a supernatural ability with no combat applications, like a pocket dimension, but they can only travel to and from it without being able to absorb anything... It could also be something simpler, like making it so that when the King's Engine is activated, no matter who they are or how powerful they are, they can't help but feel fear, even if they're incapable of it (like robots), and regardless of whether they know the truth. The question then becomes how these characters react to such arbitrary fear or near-divine healing powers. Other possibilities would work perfectly (restrictions could also be added to limit its power, such as temporary aging if it heals someone near death or clinically dead). With King helping the heroes/protagonists, and them seeing him as a saint, knowing that King has no tragic history or any motivation beyond "I am a hero because people expect that of me," mistakenly thinking that he is a god of pure power who, instead of looking out for his own well-being, helps people in multiple ways, not just as a warrior/fighter.
