I am a retired professor of U.S. and Women's History who has embarked on a second career as an historical fiction writer. My USA Today Bestselling series of cozy historical mysteries set in Victorian San Francisco feature Annie Fuller, a boardinghouse owner and clairvoyant, and Nate Dawson, a San Francisco lawyer, who solve crimes together. In order the series includes Maids of Misfortune, Uneasy Spirits, Bloody Lessons, Deadly Proof, Pilfered Promises as well as 3 novellas, and 4 short stories that feature minor characters from the full length books.

I have also written a science fiction trilogy (Caelestis Series) set in the collaborative, open source world of the Paradisi Chronicles, including a co-authored work with my daughter, Rey Wright.
