          hey guys, i’m not sure if anybody will see this, but i just recently made an account on ao3. i’m considering revising may the force be ever in your favor and uploading it there, and if i like the process enough, potentially writing the sequel that i’ve wanted to write for years. however, i kinda have a current hyperfixation with alice in borderland, and am currently working on a fanfiction for it that might take priority over it. idk if anyone still cares ab it lol, which is fine, i like writing just for my own sake, but if you read MTF and enjoyed it, i’d love to hear ur input. thank u <3

capitalism really destroyed wattpad. on god. i miss the days without paid stories and ads every story, when you could download unlimited books and it was all just for fun. now i don’t want to post my work on wattpad anymore bc they’re just going to monetize it y’know? but there’s not really another mobile platform, and i don’t really work on ao3. but i’m considering it lately. idk, should i make the switch? i’ve been considering finally writing the sequel to MTFBEIYF, but i’m not sure lol. what do I guys think?

hey, for anyone looking for updates on MTFBEIYF, i have some bad news.
          
          i haven’t really had the time, energy or plotline to continue the story. it’s my biggest book on wattpad and i really enjoyed writing the first one, and still want to write a sequel, but i have no idea when i’ll be able to start consistently writing it. i have a few rough ideas for the sequel but they don’t flow very well yet, and i can’t force it out of me. anyways, i’m not saying it’s permanently discontinued, but i would say to find other books lmao. i rlly need new star wars material to come out before i can do this. i need ben solo to come back. otherwise, i don’t have any motivation. i’m so sorry. i love you guys, thanks for all the support on that book, it’s more than i could’ve ever expected i would’ve gotten <3

wanna continue writing MTFBEIYF but i'm kinda swamped rn and don't want to put out something that isn't my best work. ily guys, thanks sm for all the love, a sequel is in the works but it'll take time <3 in the mean time, all the hype for the final season of TCW 

finn deserved a better character arc and that's on lucasfilm 

**tros spoilers ahead**
          so, i've actually come to the conclusion that i've loved every movie in this new trilogy. they've all been excellent- but there's a reason everyone's upset. i just read an article that perfectly sums up my heartbreak, and is the reason why i think that they're the worst trilogy- these movies are not consistent AT ALL.
          
           there are so many points in both tlj and tros that are WILDLY contradictive of each other and that's why everyone's upset. there was no real plan for these characters from the beginning, apparently. we were introduced to the trio in tfa, and then we had tlj, a movie of simply all character development and no plot points, and then literally every plot point possible thrown into tros with no foreshadowing from either previous film. the inconsistency kills EVERYTHING. and the only thing that remained at the center of all of these films was rey and ben's relationship- and, of course, they killed that off right after they became canon. 
          
          nobody knew palpatine was going to come back bc there was nothing there to suspect. rey's parentage basically got retconned. jj abrams went back on them "being nobodies", which was a key point of tlj. it doesn't matter if they "chose to be nobodies", as ben told rey. the point was that they WERE. that was the purpose of the ending of it, the slave child wielding a lightsaber and proving that no matter what their lineage was, everyone could be a part of the story. and then tros ixnayed that, only to say that rey was, in fact, powerful bc of her lineage. bc of palpatine. 
          
          all of these characters deserved so much better, and i understand it would've been hard to fit EVERYTHING into a 2.5 hour movie. but if there had been a PLAN at the beginning of the trilogy, at least guidelines there to make it seem to fit together, it would've been so much better. 
          
          but now, we've just ended up with a conclusion to 3 movies that tried to please everyone at once and instead pleased nobody.
