@morallyblackcupid oh yeah, we love it! We all cant wait to see whay happens. 7 years is a long time so I get that. I couldnt stomach that either. She deserves to get out there and have fun. One of my favourites tropes is the whole "he hurts her because he has to keep her safe or push her away". Eeeee exciting.

They will be apart seven years and I couldn’t write a woman sitting still long enough to grow cobwebs.
Does the hero have sex with anyone else?
Yes. there is no emotional attachment, and he does not get away with it peacefully. Pain is not a one-sided experience in this book.
Is the betrayal just that he left, or is there a marriage situation?
Leaving was only the beginning. His betrayals are all strategic but the first one he didn’t have the option of avoiding.
