   " i couldn't really help myself! I saw an opening and I had to take it!  "  his words contradict the falling of his expression, the somberness that follows suit.  "  we didn't have much time. someone had to act fast, or that monster would have wiped that group out. "  verloren sighs, brightening his damped display with a wink. " and we all know i'm the fastest! please let vivi be a last resort.. her magic scares me..!   "

〝  although your fighting was indeed admirable,  you were also quite reckless by charing in so fast without so much as a plan ＂ he very lightly scolded,  not wanting the other to think he was really upset with his actions〝  and it was just a potential suggestion.  if anything,  that can be a last resort case depending on how you're feeling ＂

   "  i imagine a bunch of goblins is nothing to someone like you, val!  "    encouraging, he gives the taller a firm grasp of their arm before he steps back to focus on strapping the leather bands to himself.  the soft clasping of metal is a familiar, relieving thing after such a theft.   "  seriously, i owe you for that help.  I wouldn't have been able to get it back on my own.  "

     he looks up with a bright, if weary, smile. his free hand that does not grasp the leathers of his stolen belts and weapons comes to rub at the base of his skull, tossing platinum strands casually.   "  tell me about it!  you did better than I, though.  "  he praises, genuine.  his hand drops to his side,   "  i'm pretty good i think, just a few standard scratches or bumps!  what about you?  they didn't ..nick you or anything?   "

the abruptness caught them off guard,  in a blink of an eye they find themselves dragged into the comfort of her nest..  it seems. ⠀˝ aren't you rougher today? ˝ ⠀inevitably trapped,  the fervent breath of the dragon lingers to the serpent's neck,  a delicious electricity sending a shudder of excitement to caelux’s system.

@voratics    ༉         she growls,   the rumble low in her throat.   quickly, almost too easily,  she tugs them forward.   her head dips pressing into the crook of their neck and inhaling.    ``   good.   "     easily,  she drags them backwards with her  -- deeper into her nest.    ``    i won't let you anyway.   " 

she's fervently livid,  as it should be as planned.  that potion should do the trick in a few moments..  it was quite easy to fool her with that meal. ⠀˝ i wasn't planning on it,  ay’lin. ˝ ⠀they'd respond,  the crisp in that tone mocking her anger with an unbothered smile;  body still as she commands.
